Praise and Prayer items
1) Earthquake - There was an earthquake in Myanmar that was felt in Thailand at the end of March. It happened during a school day in the afternoon. We thank the Lord nobody was hurt and no damage was done to our house or the school during the earthquake. Pray for the country of Myanmar which had far worse consequences from the earthquake.
2) Kathleen and boys in Canada - Kathleen, Austin and Duncan left for New Brunswick Canada on April 13th. They left to attend Kathleen's brother's wedding where Austin served as the ring bearer. Due to the business of the season I (Graham) was unable to go with them. We thank the Lord for the time they have been able to have and the memories they have made thus far.
3) Time alone in Thailand/Trip to Canada - In some ways I was thankful for some alone time to allow myself to do some things I would have otherwise been unable to do. However, it has been hard being separated from my family for an extended amount of time. Fortunately, due to the generous giving of one of our supporters, I will be traveling to New Brunswick tomorrow (July 9th) to be reunited with my family. We will be in Canada together until July 7th and should arrive back in Chiang Mai, Thailand on July 9th.
4) Change in ministry - I (Graham) have felt a calling to learn the Thai language and be involved in evangelistic ministry full-time. Due to this calling I have officially stepped down as Grace International School's IT Director. I will be remaining in the position until another IT Director is found. The anticipated timeline is that I will be finished at the school by the end of the year (December 2025) and will begin learning Thai in January 2026. Please pray that a suitable replacement is found quickly and that they would be ab excellent fit for the school for years to come.
5) Finances Update - We have currently raised 98% of our monthly support goal! We are now about $100/month short. We thank the Lord for the cheerful group of givers we have in our support team. Pray that the last remaining support would come in so that we could be 100% supported.
6) Austin's arm - During a walk in the forest, Austin fell off a log and broke his arm. We thank the Lord for the good care he got at the hospital and pray that his arm would heal completely and that he wouldn't be in too much discomfort.
