Prayer
Requests
1) Luggage- We arrived in Athens with
the clothes on our back and a smile on our faces… but that was it. Our luggage
was nowhere to be found. We have been back in Canada for almost a week and have
still not seen them. Pray that our luggage would be able to arrive back in
Fredericton before we leave for Quebec.
2) The Big move – Pray as we leave
on June 18th for Quebec to start Kathleen’s tropical medicine course
and move into our first apartment at Parole de Vie- Bethel!
3 3) Courses- As previously mentioned
we will be attending multiple courses over the next few months. Pray that we
will be attentive and gain lots of knowledge from the different course as well
as from French school.
4 4) Benin- Pray for the team that
are already there. As well as pray that we would allow the Lord to teach us in
preparation for the mission field.
Introduction
This may seem very unlike a “Graham” update,
but that’s because Kathleen is writing it! This is a busy week for us as we are
trying to get paperwork done and pack to leave on Saturday. So it is going to
be a shorter update but we want y’all to know what is happening. So Let’s get
started!
Luggage
We recognize that luggage is simply
material things but there are some meaningful things in there that can’t easily
be replaced. We are hoping that someone in the baggage handling department or
the different airlines will be able to find our bags and make sure they get on
the plane and arrive in Fredericton for us to pick up. We trust that the Lord
knows what is happening and will provide for us.

Name
Change
Kathleen is in the process of changing her
last name from Davidson to Crawford. The province of New Brunswick has changed
it. We are now waiting to receive our marriage certificate to be able to change
her name with the federal government. We would ask you to pray for that
process. It is much easier to change her name while still in New Brunswick.
With the name change there will also be a change in her SIM email address. Once
we know what that is we will certainly pass that along. SIM is also going to be
combining our missionary page on their website (www.sim.ca)
so that you will be able to see that the update is from both of us. We will both
be writing updates on the Benin Bulletin (http://beninbulletin.blogspot.ca/)
Upcoming
dates
June 18th: Drive to Sherbrooke to drop
off our stuff at the school
June 20th -24th: Kathleen attends Tropical
medicine course at McGill University
July 18th- 29th: Impact course
in Toronto. This orientation course is about living in another culture, do’s
and don’ts in new cultures, different ways of thinking, team building, and personality
awareness
August 1st - 12th: Plants in
Toronto. This is a course on learning how to learn a new language
Between courses we will be in Sherbrooke and classes
start in September at Parole de vie- Bethel
Conclusion
It feels like a whirlwind time for us right now with
getting everything done but we are so excited!! We hope that this update was
helpful in letting you all know what we’ll be up to this summer. Until next
