Prayer Requests
1) New IT Director - Thank you to those that have been praying that I wouldn’t be alone in the IT Department next year. Our prayers have been answered! Dakar Academy has officially hired a new IT Director that should be arriving in July. Pray that we would work well together as we serve our campuses and co-ops.
2) Kathleen’s Ministry - We have been thankful for the role that Kathleen has been able to do as Sports Nurse for the school. This has helped her continue to accumulate hours towards her nursing license. Kathleen would like to be involved more with her nursing skills here so she has reached out to some contacts to see what she can do. Pray for clarity as to what Kathleen should be doing as her ministry here.
3) New Accommodation - Kathleen and I began looking to see if there would be alternate accommodation available for next school year. We have succeeded in finding accommodation for next year. A missionary family is going on furlough for a year are are allowing us to take care of their house. This will give the boys alot more room to play (there is even a yard!). We praise the Lord for this unexpected blessing.
4) Health - The Kathleen and the boys have struggled with colds and congestion during the dry season. There is alot of dust in the air and sickness is common during this season. Pray that they would be feeling better soon.
5) Preschool - Austin will be starting Preschool in August! He is very excited for this new chapter in his life. Pray that he would make good friendships quickly.
