The Crawford Chronicles #29

 Praise and Prayer items

1) Travel back to Thailand - After having a great time in Canada we traveled back to Thailand at the beginning of July.  Kathleen got sick on the flight to South Korea but was able nap during the layover.  Thankfully she did not have to go through any quarantine protocol and we arrived back in Thailand as scheduled.

2) Austin's Arm - You may remember that Austin broke his arm at the beginning of June.  He flew back to Thailand with his arm still in a cast.  They removed the cast here in Chiang Mai but the bone had not fully healed so he needed to wear a brace while the bone healed.  Fortunately, during his follow-up appointment at the beginning of September he was told his arm had completely healed.  He was very happy as the brace was starting to annoy him.

3) Starting School - We have had a good start to the school year.  Kathleen and Graham were able to arrive early enough before the school year to adequately prepare their departments for the school year.  Austin has been enjoying life in Grade 1.  Duncan hasn't started preschool yet but we are hoping he can start again soon.

4) Visit with friends - A family Graham knew from his time in Botswana were able to visit us for a week in August.  It had been about 9 years since we had seen them so we had alot of catching up to do.  We had alot of fun showing them where we live and work.

5) New Visa - Since Graham is stepping down as IT Director at Grace International School he need to change his visa type.  In order to do this he will need to leave the country.  Please pray that we can get flights and a hotel booked at a good price and that the visa application process will go speedily and smoothly.
