3) Graham's Thai Classes - Graham has begun his Thai classes and is really enjoying it. Pray that he would continue to enjoy it and that he would pick up the language quickly.
4) Kathleen's time of reflection - Kathleen is thankful for times of reflection over the Christmas holidays. Pray that she would continue to be thankful and joyful for what she has and where she is even though she sometimes is homesick.
Relection Time
As the year began, I (Kathleen) felt very homesick. Christmas time was always a special time for me growing up and I always wish my family could be with me for Christmas. Over the last few days of of our Christmas break, I felt led to pause more and find joy in the moment. As January went by I noticed how beautiful the sky is at sunrise and sunset here. Even the clouds in the middle of the day have brought a smile to my face. I have learned to enjoy these moments as God shows off His artistic capabilities. Here are a few pictures of these moments:
Family updates
Austin has a loose tooth. He is very eager for it to come out. Duncan had his interview for kindergarten. I think it went well. He keeps asking to go back to the school so he can visit the ladies that did his interview. We have been working on some skills that he will need to have for kindergarten and we have made some progress. Thankfully we have found something that motivates him to be more independent. Hopefully he will continue to grow in those areas. Graham has finished his first month of Thai lessons. He had his first test and got 100% on it! Pray that he will continue to enjoy Thai classes and that he would pick up the language quickly.
Thank you all for your prayers and support while we serve the Lord here in Thailand!
Blessings,
Graham, Kathleen, Austin and Duncan Crawford
